FIRE SUPPRESSION

Earthnet is equipped with a Fike Cheetah FM-200 clean agent (FM-200 Gas) fire suppression system, with tightly defined zones to isolate and extinguish any fires without affecting surrounding areas. Fire extinguishers are also located throughout the facility.

The FM-200 system must detect both smoke and heat to be triggered. We utilize a grid of sensors in the ceiling and under the raised flooring, plus VESDA™ (Very Early Warning Smoke Detection) laser smoke sensors. Aspiration type air-sampling systems are the cutting edge of early fire detection. They may achieve levels of sensitivity and performance as much as 1000 times greater than conventional, spot-type detectors. Our state-of-the-art fire suppression system is monitored 24 x 7 on-site with an XR5 Fire Panel and off-site by Safe Systems.
